Pepsi or Coke?
Are you a Pepsi or a Coke person?…or maybe neither at all? I drink Diet Coke and to me Pepsi always tastes like they have added soap to the can. My husband drinks Diet Pepsi. If fact, I would call him a chain drinker. We often fight for fridge space!
How NOT to Overeat Ice Cream

Does anyone else have a problem with overeating ice cream? Check out this serving idea from Dine & Dish. Kind of a great way to get your ice cream fix while dieting.
This would be a fun way to serve ice cream to small children as well. They always eat 3-4 bites and then you end up finishing the rest, right?

Summer entertaining is always more relaxed than winter dinner parties. I love cute, casual, INEXPENSIVE dishware that you can mix & match. These Doodle Dude Appetizer Plates will be sure to get some laughs from party guests. They are made of porcelain & the perfect size for mini appetizers… plus dishwasher and microwave safe.
My fave is the cracker raft guy!
Fried Chicken Cookies

Soooo clever! KFC is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. It is probably the worst fast food that you can eat, but who doesn’t love a bucket of fried chicken? RIGHT?? Brilliant cookie decorator, Bridget, from Bake at 350 made these cookies and shares her secret recipe.
Monogrammed Serveware

Some of my favorites ideas for outdoor entertaining. I LOVE the Personalized Striped Party Tub idea, and am thinking I may be able to find something similar (& a LOT cheaper) on Etsy!

Have you ever tried making cucumber cups? I love the fact that you can fill them with anything you might have in the fridge…dip, pate, hummus, or even tuna/salmon! I’m thinking of sprinkling some paprika on top – I LOVE paprika!
Polka-Dot Strawberry Milkshake

If you are craving homemade milkshakes, smoothies and ice cream you must bookmark Evan’s Kitchen Ramblings. Not only does she post the most delicious treats, but her photography is just gorgeous!
& BTW, doesn’t a polka-dot milkshake seem like much more fun than a regular strawberry milkshake? I LOVE marshmallows!
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups milk
2 very large scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup strawberries, hulled
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
6 marshmallows, cut in half
Method
Blend milk, ice cream, strawberries and extract in a blender until smooth. Press the cut side of the marshmallows inside empty glasses. Pour the milkshake into the glasses. Serve with straws and enjoy!
Serves 2 (depending on what size glasses you use)
