Lunch time! We arrived at our hotel around 2:30 on Wednesday. Here are a few pics of our meal outside. It was amazing to sit outside in the sunshine after being in 30 degree weather the same morning! (& my veggie burger was HUGE)

If you don’t feel like making your own these are $2.29 at Panera Bread. They look pretty tasty and I am just getting ready to bite into one!

A Modern Gelato Parlor

Dri Dri Gelato has set up this amazing modern “ice cream parlor” in a busy London neighborhood. It has a sunshiny yellow striped boardwalk & beach cabin backdrop. The umbrella wall decals to give you the feeling that you are eating gelato somewhere along the Italian Riviera. So COOL! & I also LOVE the bright pink chairs.  I’m hoping Dri Dri Gelato makes its way to the US soon! (more…)

Wolfgang Puck teamed up with The Hotel Bel Air to offer some tasty new room service options for your special occasion. I just LOVE the gourmet picnic basket!   sooo romantic!  (last photo)

What Makes a Restaurant Romantic?

What makes a restaurant romantic? Dim lighting, privacy, a special entrée? I prefer a place that is not overly dressy or expensive and does not leave you super stuffed. (& dim lighting too please!)

Sushi & Saki at Zenkichi looks just about perfect for me. oooh, those private, wooden booths look sooo romantic. hmmm, maybe a good reason to move to Brooklyn!
