Hand-Carved Serving Spoons from World Vision

I had the pleasure of working with World Vision over the holidays and they sent me these beautiful Hand-Carved Wood Serving Spoons. The spoons are made with care to benefit orphans in Kenya.
Consider buying gifts from World Vision that can really make a difference! Please check out the World Vision Gift Catalog Facebook page and check out the video below to learn how the Gift Catalog works.

Glass Straws

Have you tried glass straws? I’m loving the look of these by Glass Dharma- especially the ones that are shaped like a bendy straw. Just not sure if I would miss the feel of a plastic one. They even sell little nylon straw cleaning brushes!
BTW, they have a deal going on on Heartsy today.
How NOT to Overeat Ice Cream

Does anyone else have a problem with overeating ice cream? Check out this serving idea from Dine & Dish. Kind of a great way to get your ice cream fix while dieting.
This would be a fun way to serve ice cream to small children as well. They always eat 3-4 bites and then you end up finishing the rest, right?

Monogrammed Serveware

Some of my favorites ideas for outdoor entertaining. I LOVE the Personalized Striped Party Tub idea, and am thinking I may be able to find something similar (& a LOT cheaper) on Etsy!
Cake Stands

Party planners… these cake stands would be so fun to use to display your cakes & cupcakes! I am thinking gold or hot pink for Harper’s birthday next year!
P.S. they are super affordable!
Colorful Silverware!

a cute DIY project to spiff up your old silverware for spring. doesn’t everyone have a set of old silverware? i keep a set underneath the sink and it could definitely use this makeover. wouldn’t it be fun to use this for your picnics?

all you need is:
spray paint metal primer, spray paint, painter’s tape, and sandwich bags
